The Joys of Toddlerhood
Princess Wall-Graffiti (you'll see in a minute why I call her that), my 2 year old daughter, has it all figured out. She feels very strongly that pet photos are supposed to be blurry, as evidenced in the training photos that I took today. Whenever I attempted to take a focused shot, she was faithful to physically correct me.
After training, it was time for a play-break with Teddy:

A Dog and Her Boy
Isabelle just loves training sessions! She has her big brother doing pretty much whatever she tells him to do, like "fetch" (me a puppy treat), "sit" (on the couch so I can jump on your lap), and "beg" (me to sit still while you put my leash on).
Of course, she responds very well to her own training, too! I think that it is one of her favorite times of the day. Usually, we entice her cooperation with treats, but she responds to other forms of bribery, as well. For example, in the photos below, my son is using a rock to get her to obey. I don't know what was so interesting about it, but she really wanted that rock. Go figure!

Teddy's Puppy Buddy
Even though he is a cat, Teddy thinks that he is a dog. He begs for scraps at the dinner table, constantly demands attention from people (usually preferring it to solitude), and...
His best friend is a dog.
Isabelle and Teddy have become very close friends. Whenever one of them is gone from an area, the other seeks him/her out. When they are in the same room, and Isabelle has to go outside for potty, Teddy heads to a window and paws the glass, trying to get to her. He really loves his puppy buddy!

Precious
My little Isabelle has the sweetest personality! This is especially evident in her napping habits (I talk a lot about her napping, don't I?). She prefers to fall asleep while near or touching a family member.
If that family member tries to move away before she has completely dozed off, she will move with him/her and try to snuggle in, like so:
Of course, sometimes she is content to fall asleep away from us, just as long as big sister is willing to let her cuddle with her dolly-pillow.

Chewies
Mommy said I'm not allowed to chew on the couch, even though it's old and the humans keep on saying they're gonna replace it soon, 'cause it's kinda messed up. She said that there is already a hole in it, and it doesn't need to get worse. And she said that the couch doesn't need any more holes. But I think it does. That one is just sitting there all by itself! It needs a friend. But mommy says no, so I can't chew on my favorite toy anymore. That's okay, though, 'cause I loves my rawhide chips, too!

Another Favorite Napping Spot
This is the bottom of our computer desk, one of Isabelle's preferred sleeping spots. This is a (not so) subliminal message: don't look at the nicks in the desk. Please. She used to go there for naps only when one of us was at the computer, but now she goes there to sleep all the time!
